Scott Stearsman

Head of Premier Banking

Scott Stearsman is the head of premier banking for Truist Financial Corporation, a purpose-driven financial services organization committed to inspiring and building better lives and communities. An influential leader with over 25 years of financial services experience, his team is responsible for delivering a distinctive client experience to affluent clients through financial planning, expertise, relationship management, and education to help empower people to achieve their financial goals no matter where they start their financial journey. He is also a member of Truist’s Operating Council.

Prior to being named to his current position in 2024, Stearsman served as the head of small business banking at Truist. This included overseeing the delivery of financial products and services to small business owners and entrepreneurs at all points of their business lifecycle, including direct portfolio relationship management and delivering SBA lending services. He has also served in several enterprise leadership roles, including the head of branch and premier banking.

Stearsman is passionate about giving back to the community and currently serves as a board member of United Way of Greater Atlanta and the SCORE Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in finance and marketing.
