Ted Miller named middle market banker for Memphis; Don Terell becomes first market president of Mississippi

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – May 15, 2025 – Truist Financial Corporation (NYSE: TFC) today announced it expanded its Memphis-based commercial banking team as it continues to execute on growing new clients and deepening existing relationships throughout the region.

Ted Miller, who has nearly 30 years of financial services experience, was promoted to middle market banker in Memphis and will provide tailored strategic advice to privately-owned midsized companies, private equity firms and family offices, among other clients.

Don Terrell, who has more than 20 years of experience, joined Truist from another major financial institution and was named the company’s first Mississippi market president, partnering with commercial clients to give their businesses financial solutions to manage cash flow and risk.

“We’re excited about the collective experience Ted and Don bring to our team as we increase our middle market focus and continue our momentum in commercial banking,” said Johnny Moore, Truist regional president of Tennessee. “Our approach of delivering local strategic advice along with industry expertise is resonating with new and existing clients.”
