Steve Scott

Corporate Treasurer

Steve Scott was named Corporate Treasurer for Truist in August of 2025.  He and his team are responsible for managing the Company’s balance sheet, capital, liquidity, and interest rate risk to ensure financial stability while supporting the Company’s strategic objectives.  Steve joined Truist in April of 2023 and previously served as Assistant Treasurer and Head of Asset Liability Management (ALM).  Prior to joining Truist, he spent 7 years at U.S. Bank and 10 years at Bank of America within ALM.  Prior to Bank of America, Steve spent two years in public accounting.  Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in accounting from Drake University.
