Kerry Jessani

Head of Commercial and Corporate Banking

Kerry Jessani is head of Commercial and Corporate Banking for Truist Financial Corporation, a purpose-driven financial services organization committed to inspiring and building better lives and communities.

Named to her current position in January 2025, Jessani leads teams focused on providing industry-specific content, strategic solutions and best-in-class capabilities to help institutions reach their goals and expand their businesses. She is also a member of Truist’s Operating Council.

Currently, Truist supports Commercial and Corporate Banking clients ranging from startup and community-based businesses to multinational corporations, as well as government entities and nonprofit organizations.

Most recently, Jessani served as deputy head of specialized industries in J.P. Morgan’s Commercial Banking business. The Specialized Industries team delivered financial solutions, including liquidity and payments, credits and financing, investment banking, and asset management to distinct business verticals across the U.S. Jessani began her tenure in investment banking before transitioning to commercial and corporate banking, holding roles of increasing responsibility across a variety of industry coverage and treasury management teams. She started her career at Bear, Stearns & Co.

Jessani earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
