Executive Leadership Team
Kimberly Moore-Wright is chief human resources officer at Truist Financial Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of human resource management, including teammate relations and talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, teammate experience, payroll and human capital systems. She is a member of the company’s executive management team.
Moore-Wright began her career with Truist predecessor BB&T in its Leadership Development Program in August 1995, and she has held various roles within the company since graduating from the program, including retail services officer, market leader, credit training instructor, retail credit training manager, Community Bank & Lending Group training manager, director of Retail and Commercial Marketing Strategy and most recently director of Marketing and Digital Sales. In 2019, Moore-Wright was named chief human resources officer of Truist which was created through the merger of equals between BB&T Corporation and SunTrust Banks, Inc.
In 2011, Training magazine named Moore-Wright one of the “Top 40 Trainers Under 40.”
Moore-Wright is a member of the board of directors of the Truist Foundation and former member of the Trellis Supportive Care (formerly known as Hospice and Palliative CareCenter). She is also a member of The Links, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way and National Black Theater Festival Fundraising.
She earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from UNC-Charlotte and MBA from North Carolina State University. She is also a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
